1. Does Tech Tutors offer Zoom tutoring? What do I do if my student does not have reliable access to the Internet or a device suitable for virtual tutoring sessions?
​
Yes! If a tutor offers Zoom appointments, it will be listed alongside the grade(s)/subject(s) they tutor under the FIND A TUTOR tab of our website. If your student does not have reliable access to the Internet or a device suitable for tutoring sessions, contact us via email (techtutors@mtu.edu) for resource options.

2. Do we have to pay for tutoring sessions?
​
No, Tech Tutors is a free tutoring program made possible by MTU's Pavlis Honors College and Center for Educational Outreach.
​
3. Can tutors and students meet in person for tutoring sessions?
​
Yes! Students can set up 1:1 tutoring sessions with our tutors in MTU's J. Robert Van Pelt and John and Ruanne Opie Library through the booking tab of this website. Tech Tutors also offers in person tutoring workshops on MTU's campus, and local schools can request for tutors to visit their campus.
